Wireless technology uses the same radio frequencies as microwaves.
With an iPad, the only way to connect to the Internet is wireless, and it is also tactile in nature, therefore your exposure to radio frequencies and electromagnetic field is guaranteed.
“Doctors and Scientists around the world have warned against unnecessary exposure of children to RF/microwave from wireless technology and recommend safer WIRED Internet connection instead, both in school and at home.”
In 2011, “the World Health Organization named cellphone radiation a possible carcinogen, putting it in a class with DDT, lead and tailpipe exhaust in terms of potential to cause cancer.
“Because the technology is still relatively new and cancers could take decades to develop, researchers haven’t been able to definitively prove or disprove that cellphones, or other wireless devices like iPads, cause cancer.”
Studies have “found that a child’s growing body can absorb up to 10 times the radiation an adult’s body absorbs, another reason to limit exposure.”
The EPA website states “The steady increase in youth cell phone use and the location of cell towers, as well as the increased use of wireless networks and devices in schools, has made the potential effects of wireless technology on students’ health and safety a concern to many parents and educators. More research is needed to clarify the question of safety.”
What is the cumulative effect of 30 iPads in one room?
